Greetings from Editor-in-Chief

I am deeply honored to serve as Editor-in-Chief of the AAPPS Bulletin for the three-year term beginning in 2026.

The AAPPS Bulletin, covering all areas of physics, was launched in 1991 by the Association of Asia Pacific Physical Societies (AAPPS). AAPPS, established in 1989, is an association of 22 physical societies in the Asia Pacific region as of January 2026 and it has a strong partnership with the Asia Pacific Center for Theoretical Physics (APCTP) in publishing the AAPPS Bulletin. In 2021, with generous financial support from APCTP, the AAPPS Bulletin was transitioned into an Open Access journal published by Springer Nature.

Over the past three years, the AAPPS Bulletin has achieved remarkable milestones. It was indexed in Scopus in 2023, included in ESCI in 2024, and in 2025 received its first official impact factor of 5.9, placing it among the top 13% of journals in the “Physics, Multidisciplinary” category.

Looking ahead, the AAPPS Bulletin will continue to strengthen its reputation, firmly establish itself as the leading representative journal covering all areas of physics, and contribute greatly to the advancement of physics.
