APCTP Scientific Activities
The Asia Pacific Center for Theoretical Physics (APCTP) was established in 1996 to promote activities in theoretical physics in the Asia Pacific region. In the year of 2016, a total of 55 academic activities were approved and 24 of them (31 individual programs) were held from January 2016 to June 2016. The total number of participants is 1,725 and its breakdown is shown in the attached Table and Figure. The planned activities of this year can be found in the attached calendar. We are also accepting applications for academic activities in the fiscal year of 2017. Active participation from physicists in the Asia Pacific region is highly welcomed.
